Cardi B Brings the Drama to Nicki Minja and Taylor Swift Swipes at Charlie XCX
The stadium door swings open: Bad Bunny is locked for the Super Bowl halftime. We call out the lazy “is he American?” takes (Puerto Rico is U.S. territory), weigh what matters most—energy, staging, collective joy—and toss out dream bookings from Beyoncé to Frank Ocean.
And yes, the rap girl civil war gets its map. Cardi vs. Nicki isn’t just noise—it’s history, catalog, and the one rule that should never be broken: don’t talk about kids. We trace it back to “Motorsport,” unpack the latest subs, leaked calls, and mid-tier missiles, and ask the question people dodge: who’s really bigger right now—longevity and numbers, or crossover reach and cultural presence? Along the way, JT, Bia, City Girls, Erica Banks, and more step into the frame, while pop plays by rap’s rules as Taylor Swift’s sharp pen seems to graze Charli XCX. Different lanes, same smoke.
We close on the justice beat—sentencing, good behavior math, and whether public spectacle is being mistaken for accountability—Diddy gets 4 years.

Go ahead, Jersey.
SPEAKER_01:Ooh, what a do what it is. You know where you at. You've reached another episode of the Mixed Vibes podcast. I'm your girl, your favorite fine ass auntie. Jersey living in the building.
SPEAKER_04:Man, what do it is? You already know the bastard show. Boy, Mr. Bell. AKAK say your name upon the spot. Might not with you tomorrow. Flag me here at some point. Uh, what's going on, Jersey?
SPEAKER_01:What it do? Happy Friday, nigga. It is a Friday. I haven't had this much of a Friday in a while. Mind you, I'm still in the empty crib, but I got a witchy cup now. Thank you, Dollar Tree.
SPEAKER_04:Are you so Halloween's coming? Do you have any plans for Halloween yet? Because I know it's just it just turned October.
SPEAKER_01:Um, I'm actually allowed to dress up at work this year. Um, so I'm considering what my appropriate work Halloween costume ideas are. We'll see what we can see. Um, but you know, outside's always gonna pop off on Halloween, and I live in South Carolina, so the weather will not be chilling out anytime soon for real. Like today was probably about 85 degrees, y'all. Like, I still got my sundress on from the day, like it was warm and it's beautiful. I fucking love that for me. Like, I need me a warm Halloween, so that's why I don't feel bad about wearing less costume.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, no, we uh I'm gonna get the house set up because you know I'm oh family parts and that shit, what not?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but has your boy picked his costume yet? Or y'all still think about it?
SPEAKER_04:Them costume days is over.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, it's over.
SPEAKER_04:Um we uh we actually for the past couple years, we actually give back in. That's our thing. Oh we give out that's good.
SPEAKER_01:I mean, that's cute, you know. Maintaining tradition, we're glad y'all doing something together. But damn, were you disappointed when he stopped doing costumes?
SPEAKER_05:No, I mean I have to walk around.
SPEAKER_01:You ain't have to buy him, you ain't have to go around the city and nothing.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, I don't have to work for neighborhoods.
SPEAKER_01:That's a win. What you talking about? 1112. Like, that's when you hype about going out with your friends for Halloween. Like, he he wasn't considering that.
SPEAKER_04:No, he might do that this year because it's cut. So I'm gonna have a little get together for Halloween. Okay, I'm gonna dress up, we're gonna give our candy. My sister's gonna come through, my cousin. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, shout out big sis.
SPEAKER_04:We gonna so we're gonna give our candy. His cousin gonna be here, they're the same age, they might walk around the neighborhood, them two on some, and we out, we outside, which is cool, but you said do it together. We start off giving our candy together and then brought on by his life, so it ended up just being me and my sister after. Okay, last year, once his cousin got here, because his cousin came last year. Once they came, was he gay? They gave back candy to one kid, then they went upstairs to play the game.
SPEAKER_01:Hey, hanging out with your homies, that's all that matters as a kid. I ain't mad. I ain't girls and development. Life.
SPEAKER_04:I'm gonna decorate outside. I might even, I don't normally do the costume, I'm gonna do the costume. Like, I'm gonna make it a whole this year. I'm gonna make it a whole thing. I'm gonna go buy one of them blow up things and go in the yard.
SPEAKER_01:Nice. Are you better at decking out the house for Halloween or for Christmas?
SPEAKER_04:Uh, I've never did Halloween, so this is gonna be. I know I've never decorated, I just gave that to Ken. Okay, you can have a light on and leave the light on.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, that's enough costume for the crib because it's usually off. Fuck you, kids.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, so the porch light be on. I'm sitting on the porch, you know what I'm saying? We're chilling. All right, I feel like so. This year is gonna be the first year I do that. Oh nah, and then I ain't gonna lie. Christmas decorating was really just a tree because I ain't do all that outside stuff when I once I got of age. First, because I gotta be the one to take all that stuff in.
SPEAKER_01:Of age is wild.
SPEAKER_04:Of age, I'm gonna be living on my own. Is that the better way to say it?
SPEAKER_01:Of age is look, you talking about yourself. You ain't talking about me and my age, cuz once I got of age. I'm still getting, I'm still getting cute, follow me. I don't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, I'm gonna be uh, I think I'm all right, Jared. How you feel about Fred Sampson? Do you even know who Fred Sampson is?
SPEAKER_01:Fred Sampson? Yeah, no, it's go ahead and enlighten me now, nigga. You ain't never seen Samford this is oh sanford, yes. Yes, Fred Sanford. You said Samson, that was a different nigga. I don't think I was Samford you did, bro.
SPEAKER_06:Because I was saying, like I was Fred Samson, bro.
SPEAKER_04:I was like, Samson, that is my bad. So let me let me apologize. That's that nigga. Yeah, I think I might do that this way. I might I might do it, you know what I'm saying? I got the hair growing there. I'm all in the middle still. I mean, I'm right there. I'm old, you know what I'm saying? I'm right there.
SPEAKER_01:Let me see you pull off a George Jefferson cue. Just you know who you could pull off with no effort though, no shade, Chico Bean. I ain't got no fur.
SPEAKER_03:Chico can't stuff break it.
SPEAKER_04:I ain't got no hair.
SPEAKER_01:He he pull a lace front out every now and again.
SPEAKER_04:He just update cap on real quick. Hey, real quick, don't get to buy jerse. I think I'm gonna put some weaving with her.
SPEAKER_01:I just want to see the results.
SPEAKER_04:I think I'm putting some weaving by her.
SPEAKER_03:Vlog the experience, that's what we need.
SPEAKER_04:The people hey, I don't appreciate people want to see it. The people want to see it. Some of us, I some of us ain't like you. We can still grow our hair out. Some of us got bow spots and been putting uh her growth oil in, and all I still got is peach books. You know what I mean, bro? So it's like it's I mean, but is it working?
SPEAKER_06:We can attribute that to something else, but I was bald, and now I got peach pills, so I guess you can say it's working.
SPEAKER_01:You look like the bubble.
SPEAKER_06:I told you, go get some of that Beyonce shit, bro.
SPEAKER_01:You'll you'll be hey, test that Beyonce shit out. You said that, I ain't seen it.
SPEAKER_06:Uh they said that's the vibe.
SPEAKER_04:Cool. Uh I ain't really gonna add Jersey because I don't forget it now. I can't find it, but I sent y'all something to the group chat. It was a song off the new veto album, and I wanted y'all to tell me the sample. The name of the song is Alana. Jerse.
SPEAKER_01:Yes.
SPEAKER_04:Do you know the sample?
SPEAKER_01:I do know the sample.
SPEAKER_04:Who's the sample?
SPEAKER_01:The sample is of the song This Love by Don L. Jones.
SPEAKER_04:Okay. Crack.
SPEAKER_06:No.
SPEAKER_04:Do you you don't know the sample?
SPEAKER_06:I didn't listen to it.
SPEAKER_04:Right.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, you sent it like a little too late. I was on the song. I've been, you know, talking through some things.
SPEAKER_04:Okay.
SPEAKER_06:Handless and didn't, you know. You know, y'all know me.
SPEAKER_04:Okay. Uh jerks. Yeah. Have you ever heard of Great Data?
SPEAKER_01:I feel like I know the name. What's he what he be singing?
SPEAKER_04:Uh he had a s he's a British singer. He's got a song called Seven Decks.
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_04:That's the actual sound.
SPEAKER_01:That's no, no, it's not. No, it's not. If you listen, okay.
SPEAKER_04:You might be right as far as the song. But I'm talking about the lyrics.
SPEAKER_01:Oh no, we do know the sample of a song is using the music from one song on another song. Yeah, but it's also using words.
SPEAKER_04:Like you a sample is not just the instrumental, it's also the words.
SPEAKER_01:You can quote another song, but when you're talking to somebody about a sample, they're referring to the audio.
SPEAKER_04:No, that's not the church. When you talk about a sample, it's not just the instrumental, it's also the words.
SPEAKER_01:Well, the instrumental was definitely the Darnell Jones song. I didn't care about that song long enough to listen to the lyrics because I knew what the sample that you asked for was three seconds into the song.
SPEAKER_04:If you didn't listen to the song, wait a minute, you said before the pod the song wasn't good. How you gonna say the song ain't good?
SPEAKER_01:It wasn't good, but you just said you ain't listening. Second he started singing, it got corny.
SPEAKER_04:Like, how you go how you gonna say something's good? I said it wasn't good. That was that's what I said. I said, how you gonna say something's good or not good if you didn't even listen to it?
SPEAKER_01:I didn't like it instantly.
SPEAKER_06:It must be nice, huh? Then we just had this conversation. Money long, money long, then listen to the song.
SPEAKER_01:Uh sure enough, I didn't like it. I'm sure everything else on the album is decent. I like veto. Vito's music is not bad. I did not like that song. Okay, I I'll pull a money long card. That's cool. I'll take that L. Hey, I didn't even think about that.
SPEAKER_03:It really is.
SPEAKER_01:I didn't think about it either, but I think that's really a repeat of the money long.
SPEAKER_03:I didn't like the song.
SPEAKER_04:Did you hear the song?
SPEAKER_03:Nah, I just know I heard it.
SPEAKER_01:I I got maybe 10 seconds in total, but didn't like it. I knew the sample though.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. That was the ass.
SPEAKER_04:Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord.
SPEAKER_01:Uh we have to work on terminology here.
SPEAKER_04:Oh, well, people gotta know the full definition of something before they start talking.
SPEAKER_01:There's a better way to reference what you were asking for. Let's put it that way. You know the sample on this song, they're listening for the music. I don't give a fuck about what you said. You're quoting another song, you're making a reference to another song. That's how it clarifies to me. If it means something else, y'all, if we're gonna pull up definitions, we'll do that. But I mean that's what it meant when that when the question was proposed to me. That's what the question means when I ask other music niggas.
SPEAKER_06:But it's Lil Wayne said it's biting. When you say something like it, just like it, it's the same thing. Sample, biting. Drake, Drake is uh he gives writing credits. If he says something you said, uh you get the same, you get the you get the writing credits. It's your your lyrics. Okay, so everybody got a sample nonetheless.
SPEAKER_04:I was saying everybody got their own definitions and stuff.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, we'll get some clarification on the next episode of the Mix Five Spike.
SPEAKER_06:What you mean? Okay, do you mind? Who did what is do you mind sample? Do you mind sample a lot of songs? Okay, lovers and friends. Uh Snick said a lot, it was like, yeah.
SPEAKER_04:But no, uh, like I said, we'll wear said we're gonna get clarification. We're not because we're not none of us is gonna actually remember or take the time to look it up. So that being said, still the end time you know. Oh, speaking of new, well, speaking of music, let me do this. Y'all got any new music y'all want to shout out or talk about?
SPEAKER_01:Um, so I get notifications from Apple Music because I still have my subscription. And a couple weeks ago, I saw an artist listed under Kirby Post New Music. And I'd seen the name before, but hadn't heard any of their music or anything. Couldn't even obviously by the name, couldn't tell if it was due to free mail. But I'm scrolling through TikTok and come across one of her songs. Kirby's actually a pretty dope artist. Um, I downloaded a lot of stuff from her catalog. She got this kind of Erica Baduy kind of dab on her stuff, real, you know, pro-black. Love that. Um, and I just I liked it. I felt the need to share. Uh quick.
SPEAKER_06:Actually, yeah. Um other night I'm in here chilling, playing the game, and I hop on Apple Music, and they suggest the new Jeezy album. Jeezy Just Drop. I said, Oh shit. Jeezy just dropped. Jeezy and drum. I said, oh, this this win to be some shit here. When they get together, it's always a move. Jeezy came on with nothing but samples from songs from the 80s, early 90s, you know, RB songs. I think a little Barry White, a little Luth on there. This this wasn't it for me though. This this was not it. I got I got six songs in, and I ended up cutting it off. I text I had text cute when I first before I even start listening, yo cute, Jeezy just dropped. Listen to this, tell me what you think. Ooh. It was cool, like the first couple songs was cool. Okay, I like I don't like my music to sound like that personally, like you gonna sample a song, sample it. But Geezy's raps wasn't matching the music I was hearing at all. I feel like he already had some shit wrote. He didn't write, he didn't, while he could have, I didn't interpret it as him writing music, writing his lyrics to the music. He had some lyrics and he went in there and laid them down to whatever uh drama pulled up for him. Um it was a couple of he threw a couple shots at his at his ex, his wife, you know, BM, whatever. I I was laughing at them. Them was kind of little subtle shots, but nothing, nothing crazy. Um but yeah, nah. Um we need we need to get back in the lab and retry that one there. You you or or maybe it wasn't Jeezy, maybe this was drama. Because I drama, these is these is jack beats. These is beats you need to be given to Jack. No, seriously, like that's what that's Jack's whole MO is sampling uh uh uh that type of music. RB, he sampled a Fergie, they sample this, they sample that, uh static major. I ain't me personally, I don't want to hear that from Jeezy. That's just me though.
SPEAKER_01:And I do want to clarify for you, Q. A song sample is a snippet of a pre-existing sound recording that a musician or producer incorporates into a new song, effectively reusing the original audio to create a new composition. Just saying.
SPEAKER_00:I'm done.
SPEAKER_04:I was I was trying to decide how I was gonna reply. All right, uh, so back to the music. Uh I did listen to the Jeezy joint, the Jeezy joint, uh like Quack said, them first couple songs. I kind of was like, all right, it's what I it's what I was expecting when I heard a Jeezy song. When I heard the Jeezy album, this wasn't what I was expecting. But I kept giving it a listen. I said, uh, it's not for me. But I did go back and listen to like the last five songs. Quack it did get better.
SPEAKER_06:Okay, it turned more in the no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04:It it I said it got better. I say it got different. It was still the same, but it got better towards the end. Like I said, a little different. I mean, still different, but it got better. Uh so Jeezy joined. I gave the Brights until the uh album solace. I listened to it. It was cool, it was cool. I thought it was going to be very RB ish, R and V bag, getting your feelings. It's autumn, I'm kind of sad type motion.
SPEAKER_01:No, I'm kind of sad.
SPEAKER_04:That's what I was expecting when he talked when he talked about the album. It gave a little bit of that, but it wasn't a lot. It wasn't what I it it wasn't as good as I thought it was gonna be. I'm thinking it's gonna be a nine out of ten. It's like a solid seven. Uh I gave Taylor Swift a try. Because we're gonna talk about Taylor Swift later.
unknown:Uh uh.
SPEAKER_06:I also gave Cardi a try, and we will also talk about that later as well.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, cool. I did give Taylor Swift a try. Uh wasn't for me, but the song, but the album was good. Wasn't wasn't for me, wasn't for me. I don't think it has a repeat value from jerseys, is what I'm saying. But it was it was good if you liked that. Does that make sense? Is that for her? Is that a nice way to put now? And then last uh, I listened to the veto album. Uh fuck with veto side. Nice, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Shout out, uh, side shout out to Selena Gomez. She got married this weekend, y'all. Remember, I told y'all she was getting married to Benny Blanco, their wedding was this weekend. Uh, Taylor Swift, um, Ariana Grande, and Miley Cyrus were a bright scene. They look beautiful in the pictures, but congratulations to them.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, no bad shout, shout out to Selena Gomez. Shout out to her. Um, it's time to news. Let's start off with. I forgot to put this on the list, but y'all already should know. Bad bunny is performing at the halftime of the Super Bowl.
SPEAKER_03:A lot of people's upset because all his music is in Spanish after they just had all them ice raids.
SPEAKER_04:Also, I said they're gonna be at the super bowl trying to get any of his fans that's petty. It's fucking stupid because can't nobody them people can't afford not them people. Hell, I can't, but let me clarify people. Can't afford to go to the damn Super Bowl like that. It's not but famous athletes and rap musicians and shit. Or companies who get free tickets, they send their people. You think them Hispanics go go to the Super Bowl knowing y'all watching them?
SPEAKER_06:Where's the Super Bowl at?
SPEAKER_04:I forgot. Is it San Francisco? Is it San Francisco still this year? Oh, I forgot. Out of the top of my head. But I don't that was pointless. But bad bunny, um, some people was mad because they say he ain't American, because he's from Puerto Rico, even though that's American territory, that's neither her nor there. Um some people, some people is happy because those people that are upset are showing their true colors. How y'all feel about Bad Bunny being the Super Bowl hairtime?
SPEAKER_01:I don't mind. He gets his crowd lit. Like, I don't know every Bad Bunny song, but like he he got a little bop to him. I know a little bit of what he's saying, I don't know everything, but you know, I I'm with it. I'm all for a good show. We love a good show. I think he'll do great. I'm not disappointed by it. It was a random choice for sure, but I'm not disappointed by it. Get your get your act time in, Mr. Bad Bunny.
SPEAKER_05:Uh Quay, what you think?
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, I don't know me. Uh, me personally, I don't get up for the halftime show. That ain't my thing. Uh, whoever gets it, they may or may not get the watch for me. Uh this one definitely will not get the watch for me. I mean, I guess it depends on who we bring out, who he incorporated into the show. I personally, congratulations to that man, but not my bad. Don't he wrestle? Ain't this the same bad bunny?
SPEAKER_04:I was gonna say, I know him from wrestling.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, that's where I that was my initial introduction to him is wrestling. Um, but shout out to him though.
SPEAKER_04:But uh, speaking of wrestling, when he for uh he had a wrestling match in his home country to Puerto Rico, when when when dude's music dropped, I felt the vibrations through the TV. That's how that's how the great crazy the uh the stadium's going. But they said, like I said, I know it from wrestling. I don't I feel like I done heard a couple of songs, but you know, like I said, they're in Spanish. I don't really but shout out to uh shout out to Bad Bunny for getting the Super Bowl halftime. I think it's crazy that people don't know that Puerto Rico is an American territory, so that makes him an American citizen. Yeah, it is kind of like what would y'all do in the school this whole time? I don't know. I don't know. All right, uh do y'all is anybody that y'all would prefer to see perform at the super buff? Or that y'all want to let me not say prefer somebody y'all want to see perform at the next super buff? Given that Adele and Taylor Swift were rumored to turn it down this year. Taylor Swift is rumored to turn it down. I believe three of the past four, three in the last four years, three times in the last four years she has turned it down. Do y'all have anybody in mind that y'all want to see?
SPEAKER_01:Um, I could always see Beyonce go again or Rihanna, but Rihanna's gonna put on the same show because she ain't putting out no new music, obviously. Um, I wouldn't mind seeing Beyonce do do another Super Bowl. I don't need to see Chris Brown because I'm going to go, I'm going to Breezy Bowl. So that'll be my Super Bowl halftime show. Very excited.
SPEAKER_04:Okay. Um, quick.
SPEAKER_06:So I got on board. So when they dropped the teaser picture for who was the performer, I didn't see anybody say that those teet belonged to Bad Bunny. The only person I saw that they said the T belonged to was Frank Ocean. And I was on board for the Frank Ocean show. I was like, damn, we finna get Frank Ocean at the Super Bowl halftime show. That'd be dope. That is probably the only show that I want to see is the Frank Ocean show.
unknown:Okay.
SPEAKER_04:Uh my obvious choice would be Chris. Because not even so, mainly because I feel like Chris deserved it. If anybody deserves it, it's Chris. Because I Chris did something years ago, and Chris still get hateful, but he still keeps pushing and still keep putting out great music. Uh oh, Jerry said she can see Beyonce again. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_01:I can see Beyonce again. I wouldn't mind letting Cardi do one just for the sake of getting bitches hype. Um, I think Meg could get off a fun halftime show. Um, but that's just shit I want to bump to, like you know.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, my uh Drake. I can see Drake, but you know Drake's willing to turn it down before two. So it is what it is. All right, speaking of Cardi. Cardi dropped the album. Me and Drake had already talked about it. Um, but you go ahead, go tell about your thoughts on the album before we get into Cardi mode.
SPEAKER_06:The album was it was a Cardi album. I will say that. It was good. I will give it that. I personally though come come have realized it's the thing about Cardi. I think it's a whole lot of performative. She's she does this, she does that, you know, her antics is what fuels everything else that's going around, like as far as the music goes. The music is fueled by everything else. I and I I don't know if I like the music, therefore, I don't know if I like everything you got going on around you either. So the album's not as good as the first one. I will say this it's not as good as the first one. Alright, I'm trying, I'm trying to keep it clean because I'm I I'm I'm on a certain side. I'm not gonna lie, I'm on the Cardi side of the beef. But these old McDonald's raps, you can keep that shit.
SPEAKER_01:Uh I was, but even in the house with them kids.
SPEAKER_06:That old McDonald's shit. I don't want to hear that shit. If you gonna rap, rap, I want to hear feature Cardi. I don't want to hear Cardi gotta make 10, 12 songs. I don't want to hear that.
SPEAKER_05:Okay.
SPEAKER_06:Album was okay. I don't see I got like I take my good back. It was alright. But it was too, like I said, it was too much. Oh McDonald had a farm E-I-E-I-A-B-C. She had some, she had a couple little bops on there. I like them, you know, the ones that hit the one, you know, I was cool with that. That other shit though, y'all can keep that shit, man. I'm not saying she got the worst album of the year, but she she ain't as as high on that female rapper's list as I thought she was.
SPEAKER_04:Thank you, thank you for your honest opinion of the Cardi B album. Um I'm glad you got to it and gave it a gave it a spin. All right. Uh Cardi. Cardi, Cardi, Cardi. Uh Cardi and Nikki's at it again. At it again. At this point, I don't really remember how it started.
SPEAKER_03:Um why it started or oh whatever.
SPEAKER_01:It elevated quickly.
SPEAKER_04:I don't know. Y'all just go. Jerry, so what is your reaction to this beef? Do you have a favorite tweet?
SPEAKER_01:Cardi said her baby's favorite color is five, and I automatically wanted to put it on t-shirts. Um, I could care less about the nature of the beast. It's just watch, it's just entertaining watching them crash out. Cardi's always gonna crash out in real time, but watching Nikki do it in real time, it just provides a certain air of crackhead energy that that we know. They they repeatedly reposted how Nikki was hollering out on Queen Radio. I never bring anyone's kids into this. And here we are, dragging like girl, get it together. You really don't got no other shit to talk about other than people's kids. Diabolical. Because again, there's a shit ton of shit we've already gotten on you on about your life and choices that you know now we're about to air out on the internet again. Um, does she just want attention for this quote unquote supposed album she's gonna drop now? All of a sudden, we got dates and shit dropping. So it just feels played again. Every time somebody puts something out, Nikki feels the need to throw her name back out there. Like getting in the faces of women whose careers started a decade or so after yours is unnecessary. Granted, there isn't a lot of love for female rappers in the game. I grew, I get it's competition, it's sales, you don't gotta be everybody's fucking friend. But Nikki has no fucking friends in this game, and I get not having any to begin with, but you're definitely not fucking making any at this point, which we don't expect you to, but again, watching you at 40 crash out online is a little embarrassing. But I'm here for the entertainment, so I don't give a fuck what you do with your life.
SPEAKER_05:Oh what you think, dog?
SPEAKER_04:They they done said a lot, they done said a lot, and they done threatened physical altercations, not telling each other to pull up, and she knows Cardi pregnant.
SPEAKER_01:She would never they done did a lot.
SPEAKER_04:What say you, Quack?
SPEAKER_06:Like I said, I I am on the side of the beef, even though uh I probably shouldn't be. I should not have a horse, uh, uh, a fighting, a horse in this fight, a dog in this fight, we'll say a baby in this fight.
SPEAKER_02:But yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06:Um now, while we always say we don't talk about the dead, we don't talk about people's kids unless you're ready to back up those actions. I'm pretty sure Nikki swung first about the kids.
unknown:So
SPEAKER_06:Anything after that's fair game. Now, if you live in a glass house, why is you throwing stones? If you know you got all these flaws that motherfuckers love to damn get on, why is you starting? Now the the I think the initial Nikki tweet was very subtle. It didn't have any directive towards it. I think the people got behind it and pushed you know the shit behind it. I can't go back. I tried to go back and look, and it was a lot of deleted tweets, and there was just a lot of gaps in in between. So uh my favorite tweet though, I did like the your favorite color, his favorite color is five. Um but I think it was the uh Cardi's response yesterday, the one I think dropped yesterday. She where she um she caught her by her government. Where she where she put the government, dear Onika, and told her to get some help. I think that was the one that did it for me. Cause she she was Nikki, I ain't saying Nikki was winning, but she wasn't losing. When when Nikki started typing A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Nikki started eating her ass up with her own. Look, talk about a sample. Nikki was on that ass boy. And then you know what that entails, that entails the rest of the Avengers come out, and then you got JT coming out. JT versus Santana. Which I I know we're talking rap girls beef. I mean, I feel okay. We we're gonna have to get into all this. So, women and children. I mean, the rules has already been broken at this point, so why not why not break all the rest of the rules? I guess men and women can go back and forth now.
SPEAKER_05:Does he see himself as a man?
SPEAKER_06:He I think Santana knows he's a man, but does he see himself as a man? Uh I don't I don't think I think he thinks he's far enough to where uh he don't have to follow quote unquote men rules. You can apply, you can you can use women rules. Maybe that's what it is, because we we know uh me and you talk. When I said Uzi dropped the response to Cardi, you said, why whoa, whoa, whoa, why is you in the booth? Why you not why you don't got your girl in the booth? Why is men getting in the win in the women shit? I mean, Stefan Diggs, he did, I think he did a little post. I'll say talking to TMZ the other day. Um it's the YY West right now. For sure. Um, like I said, I'm I'm team, I'm team Cardi. Um, I don't know. Because it's it's a lot of people. Look, it's people from Love and Hip Hop popping out. That's just how bad it done got. You got people that Cardi had beef with on Love and Hip Hop, they calling back like shit, Cardi, we on your side, shit. They doing workout videos with the Cardi music playing in the background. Sides are being picked, and it's cool. It's cool. I mean, it's a civil war right now. I just feel like enough music ain't being made, though. Right. I heard JT, I heard your little weak ass shit. That shit, you could have kept that boo-boo there.
SPEAKER_01:Not the boo-boo.
SPEAKER_06:You should have just hopped on the Uzi track if that's how you felt. And at least we could have been like, you know, we could have had something to talk up about it. A two for one special instead of this, this, this bullshit.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah.
SPEAKER_06:It wasn't, it wasn't bad, but it just it it didn't give this. It gave it this. We'll put that. We'll just say leave it like that. Bia. She announced her album dropping next month.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, Bia, she's gonna have five songs that people can name now.
SPEAKER_06:Hey, uh do you know what her real name is? No, you know what Bia is for? I didn't know, I didn't know either. No, uh it's Bianca, that's the name of her album. Bianca.
SPEAKER_05:That makes sense.
SPEAKER_06:They do, they do, and that's the thing. I mean, maybe after she dropped this album, we'll be able to name the five Bianca songs, yeah. But definitely drawing a blank after everything that went on, shit. I still can't tell you five Bianca songs. Sure can love you, girl.
SPEAKER_02:I love you, girl.
SPEAKER_06:Nah, beat it, man. B is that stick. I mean, I wish. Look, if we can get why can't like Cardi, you know. Do y'all think Cardi look like Barney? Y'all see that? The Barney shit was crazy.
SPEAKER_04:That was the funniest shit to be. Barney B.
SPEAKER_06:Barney B's nuts.
SPEAKER_01:Barney B is wild. Barney B is wild. Somebody put a picture of Barney with her wig on. I was like, y'all fucked up for that.
SPEAKER_06:And and we didn't know Cardi was 37. What how did that become a thing?
SPEAKER_01:Oh, yeah, I didn't know that. I figured 33 or so, but like 37. Really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:How old did you how old did you think she was?
SPEAKER_06:I thought she was around that age. Like people was tripping. I thought she was I knew she, I knew she wasn't 40, but I knew she wasn't 30. 30, late. I mean, uh early 30s. I knew that.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, I'm in fact. Cordy, I knew Cardi was my age, around my age. I knew that.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, and then I just see the whole internet. Wait, Cardi's really 37. Yeah, I didn't know. Look at her. I mean, I mean, I look at her, but I mean she's been around, she's been around. Yeah, she I think what it really is, I think it's that COVID time. People forget. Yeah, COVID time happened, and motherfuckers had birthdays.
SPEAKER_01:Took a minute to readjust. You gotta sit back two years with COVID.
SPEAKER_04:But no, you're right. Like you said, people forget. Cardi's been around for a long time. Even though she just got, well, now two albums. Cardi's been around for a minute. She had a mixtape before that first album came out. She was on love at hip hop before that first album came out. Cardi's been around for a minute. Uh also the beat. For me. Uh it looks bad for Nicki. And the reason I say it looks bad for Nicki is because Nicki beat with everybody. Every other female rapper she beats with. She was cool with ice ice. Now she's beeping with ice biceps. Then you cool with Bia and JT. Okay, how long that gonna last? But I thought Cardi was cool with the uh, you know, with the city girls, but apparently she ain't. She just cool with Carisha. Which I wonder how Carisha feeled, huh? Her two best friends is me.
SPEAKER_06:You see, you didn't see what Carisha put up.
SPEAKER_04:No, I ain't seen what Carisha said.
SPEAKER_06:So the whole shit was going on, and you know, the last time some shit popped off, Carisha was asleep. She, you know, she got on Twitter, my bad job. I was asleep. I remember that. Yeah. After the shit popped out the next day, Carisha tweeted, I'm up. I'm up, and you know where Carisha was at in the studio. Uh now, uh we can get we can get to Carisha in a minute. But uh, yeah, no, she I think Santana's hugged her rider die. I think that's how they go. Yeah, yeah, because when they was asking, they asked her the other day on live. She was on live and they asked her uh, well, how you feel? No, she said she was having a relationship live. Y'all come on here and ask relationship questions. So the person said, Well, how was your relationship with JT after the album just after the Cardi album just dropped? No, no comment. And that's all that's all the comment we need right there.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, no comment speaks volumes.
SPEAKER_01:Oh that's all we needed. No comment is all the comment we need.
SPEAKER_04:Say what's no comment speaks more volumes than any word you gonna say. It speaks more words than you're gonna say. Oh I'm trying to figure out why they still beefing. Like at this point, what Nikki and Cardi, y'all beefing. I get the for what now I mean because the kids is involved, but before the kids got involved, I get the for what's, but really what's the purpose? But what's the purpose? Like, what's gonna be what's the end of it? Because y'all both y'all both grown ass women, y'all really gonna be out in the streets fighting. Well, now it is because y'all talking about each other's kids. So now it is worth fighting, but before that, was it really worth fighting?
SPEAKER_01:Let's go.
SPEAKER_04:Both of them get both of them. My favorite, my favorite tweets are their apologies. Because one of them was really apologies. Those was my favorite tweets.
SPEAKER_01:Apologize, you raggedy bitch without apologizing.
SPEAKER_04:Oh I feel like some of the stuff both of them said is kind of true. Cardi talked about the reason Nikki's behavior is the way it is. I feel like it's true. Nigga, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna say what those things is because I don't won't have to say that allegedly, but y'all know what Nikki, y'all know what Cardi said about Nikki. I feel like that's true. I also feel like Nikki do got a point. Nikki was like when it comes to numbers, Nikki put up numbers. People act like Nikki didn't put up numbers because Cardi's the new wave.
SPEAKER_01:Nikki did that first. I swear to god, watch this next Nikki album be another Pink Friday reboot. Like, get your life.
SPEAKER_04:I swear to George, I'm gonna pull my hair out. The little hair like I'm gonna put a rebound.
SPEAKER_01:Like, come on, that's the and it's the first thing I thought when somebody said, Oh, Nikki drop dates, Nikki drop dates. Like, if it's another motherfucking pink Friday, all the Fridays ain't pink, nigga.
SPEAKER_04:Better come out with something different. Uh but it's wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_06:What if that what if that's her series, though?
SPEAKER_03:What why are we gonna lock this?
SPEAKER_04:It's the same shit, it's the third one, it's gonna be the fourth one at this point. It's the same shit. Name a different color.
SPEAKER_06:That's her that's her bag. It's the pig Friday, it's a pig Friday when I drop this album.
SPEAKER_04:I feel it, I feel that. It's like people do have series, like Lil Wayne has the quarter series, he's at like what carter six now.
SPEAKER_01:But each of the carters sounds a little different, like it's not him remixing the same 10 songs for every album.
SPEAKER_06:I don't know, I don't listen to them. I don't know what's on them. My bad. If that's if it's the same thing, that's what y'all mean it's the same thing.
SPEAKER_03:Yes, the where the first two was the first one.
SPEAKER_01:She keeps releasing and the condom, like she keep remixing previous shit, and I'm just like, all right, you ain't nobody gonna produce nothing new for you.
SPEAKER_03:Now the uh well, I the last one was it had new shit on it, but the second one it all sounded same.
SPEAKER_04:It's ridiculous. The last one had new shit on it. The second one was just a re just re-release. You added five new songs, and then like third saying remix and shit. You ain't really do nothing.
SPEAKER_01:Oh giving us the same album three, four times, and I'm pretty over it. You're gonna do something new, you're gonna jump out the box, you're really reloading this time. Like, do that. You keep you know shaking that t-shirt out to put it back on, and we can smell it. Stop.
SPEAKER_04:Lil Wayne had the quarter series, but Lil Wayne also had other albums. He had a whole he had other albums. Nikki Nikki does have got a lot of popularity off very few albums. She she's she won here with a couple extra albums.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, I'm just saying, nah, mixtape game crazy. The whole young money, we don't teach your game crazy.
SPEAKER_04:Like Jared said, those mixtapes, this mixtapes ain't game out. But she did put up numbers. Let me give her credit. Nikki did put up numbers, she created a new way. Oh, it wasn't no, it really wasn't no female rappers out popping when Nikki came out.
SPEAKER_01:Give her credit 20 years ago. We can all agree that.
SPEAKER_06:Yes, that's 2005. Nikki been out since what 08-09. Give, give, let's let's not even stretch the dub now. Let's not even give her the full dub.
SPEAKER_01:Right, is it yeah, you might be right, but um, anyways, uh again, debating with somebody whose career is a decade and a half behind yours is is psychotic.
SPEAKER_02:That was the next person to come, though.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, who's again? But again, she came out two years after the last round of female rappers that was out.
SPEAKER_06:Okay, well, well, well, let's just say then uh Remy Ma. Remy Ma came out before Nikki, and she was beefy with it. I was gonna say same with Kim. Remy had just got jail.
SPEAKER_01:She had huh and it said Remy just had just got out of jail. She ain't had shit else to do, and beef is all she knows.
SPEAKER_06:She was coming for what she thought was her spot.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, again, she had just gotten out of jail, she needed to jump back in or commit to being a wife, and we see how that worked out.
SPEAKER_06:So, what you're saying is because Nikki quote unquote thinks she at the top, she shouldn't be punching down.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, for real. You won't claim to be at the top of the environment, prove it in a booth. Going back and forth with somebody again who's making their own way, making their own way to get to their own top of their level. It's stupid. Like, I don't consider them in the same lane. I don't, it's stupid to me, yes. Like, timeline-wise, they're definitely not in the same lane. Yes, it's the same genre, but like it's not the same.
SPEAKER_04:Who did y'all say? Not the same, my bad.
SPEAKER_06:She said Nikki and Cardi should not be in the same lane, and I'm just trying to it's the same genre, sure.
SPEAKER_01:The same, you know, competition, but it's not the same. Again, she's got uh 10 years on her in the game. That's a different level than where Cardi is at. Cardi is working towards that. Cardi has her own level of achievement that is that for now. She's only getting bigger, but it's it's stupid to me.
SPEAKER_06:You think she's gonna get bigger than what she is?
SPEAKER_01:I do, she's constantly getting attention. Let her look, let her it only takes a couple moves to get bigger in the game.
SPEAKER_06:What's bigger though? Bigger than Nikki? She to where Cardi can drop a uh her own version of Pink Friday?
SPEAKER_01:No, it can be anything, brands like you know, endorsing shit with your kids or jumping into movies, like again, like there's other shit I ain't seen Cardi in a movie yet. Oh, yes, I have. She can't read. Fuck you.
SPEAKER_04:Mark, wait a minute. You have an interesting question. Is Cardi already bigger than Nikki?
SPEAKER_01:Bigger. Her fan base is definitely louder right now.
SPEAKER_06:We ain't talking about fans.
SPEAKER_04:Hear me out though. Just hear me out for a minute. I feel like I seen Cardi in more pop culture stuff than I seen Nikki. I feel like Cardi has crossed over more than I feel like Nikki is.
SPEAKER_01:All right, so let's let's let's step back for two seconds. Let's consider it as the Mariah effect. Mariah's the shit. Was Mariah's the shit and Mariah's right? Christmas come around. You know, Mariah is gonna get her bag. Nikki is Nikki in her own right, and she's gonna, you know, do her shit when she feels like dropping the same album again. Cool. Her fans are gonna roll with it, people gonna roll with it. She decided to do a podcast again, they're gonna roll with it. Because again, she's reached that point where it's like Nikki dropped, fans are gonna jump in. Cool. Cardi is still in her again, facing the Mariah Clause, her Ariana Grande, still working, still keeping her name out there, still. Nikki don't gotta work 365 days a year because she's gonna drop a date for an album we've already heard and get you know the accolade she wants for it. Cardi is out in the streets pedaling her album because that's what she needs to do right now to get you know to be uh out and consistent. And and I don't want to use the word relevant because she's always relevant, she's constantly online doing shit, minding her own business. Again, she's been doing all dealing with all this shit with that fuck ass nigga and lawsuits and the babies, and like she's active right now, it makes her more prominent in media. It's what people are talking about. If Nikki had minded her business this week, we wouldn't be talking about Nikki.
SPEAKER_04:I heard you, but I think Cardi might be bigger than Nikki at this point.
SPEAKER_06:I gotta disagree with you on that one, big dog.
SPEAKER_04:I think I don't think it's a foregone conclusion. Maybe I'll say it like that. Okay, I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Cardi is as big as Cardi and her doing WWE events. That's a whole different type of crossover.
SPEAKER_06:But it's promo time though, you got to.
SPEAKER_04:No, no, no. She was doing that before. She was doing that earlier in the year before we knew it was an actual date for the Cardi album. I feel like Cardi has crossed over in the in a but like John said, maybe it's because she outside, she's more outside than me. So that might be the reason. But I just feel like I see Cardi's name, I see Cardi in commercials.
SPEAKER_05:I don't think I've ever seen Nikki in that same way.
SPEAKER_04:I could be wrong. Like I said, Nikki's Nikki's big pop out was what are we talking about? 18 years ago, 10 years ago? And Cardi's is more in the past five years. But maybe it's because I'm seeing it more and I've maybe it's recency biased.
SPEAKER_06:COVID time, man.
SPEAKER_04:Maybe it's recency bias. But I feel like maybe I don't think it's I don't think it's I don't think Nikki's that far ahead of Cardi at this point. It's just me. But I want to say something about Cardi, and I won't get y'all thoughts on it. Uh it was an audio release of her talking to Ice Spices manager, and they was arguing, they was yelling, the audio is a couple is old. But she said, and I quote, this was my ex jerse. If a female, if you hear a female on the phone saying, You think I'm pussy ass jerks, and she sent you a bag. It's a nice bag, it's an expensive bag. Does that apology go? Do you remember her saying nobody's ass jerks? What do you remember most? The bag or being caught up?
SPEAKER_01:That's funny. That's funny. Um, and lotto put out a little little snippet of her on that cardi joint, too. I liked it, it was lit. Um that was fucking wild. I saw that. You can't call call me no fucking pussy because then I'm gonna be at your door. Like the fuck. Look, pussy is a very uh interesting word to use in terminology when referring to other people because taking a more passive route in some cases will make you a pussy, but uh you you ain't gonna call me that scot free. Fuck out of here. Fuck out of here. That was and I was shocked to not see any cutback from Lotto. But I mean, if the bag is gonna do what the bag is gonna do, like look, this wasn't a shot towards you, it just what came the fuck out of my mouth. She I guarantee you when she was when Lotto was going back and forth with ice twice, Cardi was sitting on the on her phone thinking, beat that little girl ass.
SPEAKER_04:They say the stuff you say behind my bag is more important than the stuff you say to my face. You was on the phone with my rival saying I basically I ain't gonna do shit. But did she no?
SPEAKER_06:That's nah nah nah. She wasn't saying that. She would no, that's not what she was saying. She was saying I'm not her.
SPEAKER_03:But she was saying she ain't do nothing to you. I will. Exactly. You on the phone saying I'm not gonna do nothing.
SPEAKER_06:She's saying she didn't do it to you. You didn't do nothing.
SPEAKER_01:It's not that she wouldn't had the situation been at a point where she could have I'm saying, bruh, even look, even the Avengers got beef sometimes, you but we still on the same side, it's okay.
SPEAKER_06:No, right. I hear that.
SPEAKER_03:If I'm Lotto and I hear that, you saying I wouldn't do nothing.
SPEAKER_01:And if she did do something, I guarantee you her response would have been keep playing with me, I'm gonna call Lotto. So again, it was more or less referring to the actual outcome of the beef instead of calling her pussy.
SPEAKER_06:I ain't gonna hold you. I already know it's been niggas talking talking salty on my name. And I just wanna I just want to know shit. How was I defended? Shit.
SPEAKER_04:He on the phone call you a pussy. You ain't gonna look at that the same way, you ain't gonna look at that away.
SPEAKER_06:Of course I am, but also maybe not if it was him, maybe it was somebody. Let's not use John because I feel like that's I feel like that's a too close of a relationship.
SPEAKER_04:That's too close.
SPEAKER_06:Okay, yeah, yeah. Like if it was like uh let's let's say oh.
SPEAKER_04:You know oh. I know oh, you done kicked it with O.
SPEAKER_06:Done kicked it with him, but he ain't he ain't Johnny Boy.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, you right, Johnny Boy probably too close to the situation. Let's go with O.
SPEAKER_06:Oh yeah, no, I gotta, I gotta pull up. I ain't gotta I gotta holler at you. Oh, what's good with what's good with you, dog? Like, you know, I just you had some things to say, and I just you know, I thought we hit it out, you feel me? We got records together. We've been working together, you feel me, pretty closely, you know. What was good to you? I mean, because you know, that's just me personally, you know. I ain't I ain't going for no whole shit. But if oh, you know, didn't want no smoke, and I was like, yo, I got this new copy of 2K that you can cop off me.
SPEAKER_02:I'm gonna say an house, but okay, we go with it.
SPEAKER_06:We can we can, you know, shit. You was just talking out of out of anger. I heard I heard the recording and I I can see where you was coming from. You feel me? You was just talking out the side of your neck, not necessarily towards me, so I I take this copy and we can get it. I feel that. Yeah, no, no, no. I I get it. I don't really do the purse thing because that ain't me either.
SPEAKER_04:I'll just ask you, but you wouldn't be able to do that.
SPEAKER_06:If a nigga came with that, yeah, a nigga came with it, you know, a nice investment. Yeah, anything you say out of anger, you know, I can let that shit slide, but don't let it happen again. And like as far as Lotto goes, if she was ducking smoke from ice spice, what do y'all think she was gonna do to Cardi? Come on, come on now. Now, and I ain't even saying she was ducking the smoke with spice, but Cardi said Cardi said she was.
SPEAKER_04:I'm gonna keep saying Cardi said she was. Cardi said she was ducking ice spice. Cardi said you was running the hat.
SPEAKER_06:But she didn't put Cardi's man, though. I mean, she didn't put ice spice's man, so do your thing.
SPEAKER_04:But on that note, uh, y'all got anything else y'all wanna share about the Nikki and Cardi beef or the female rappers' beats in general, because it's live now. JT release her diss track, Jersey. I don't know if you heard it. I heard it, it was kind of it was it was lacking this, like Queg said. It was just you rapped, and it's okay. I didn't uh but shout out to Beal. Bea got an album coming, Nikki got an album coming, uh coming, hopefully, and then Cwarty, hopefully continue success for her. JT, uh, I don't know if you got an album coming, but hopefully you got some music coming as well. Good luck to all everybody involved. Is there any other female rappers beat that I missed?
SPEAKER_01:I think that's everybody.
SPEAKER_06:Erica Banks dropped.
SPEAKER_04:I was gonna say you said Erica Banks.
SPEAKER_06:Thanks, yeah. She she dropped a little, it was it was subtle, but it was loud. It was it was many ways that these dishes could have gone. She's she talked about Pampers, she talked about um, I think there was a gun bar on there. A lot of people was was pointing here and there and there and here. You talking about this when you're talking about that one, Nikki, Cardi, Meg. Uh um, yeah. I I don't listen to Erica Banks, but you know.
SPEAKER_01:Not at all.
SPEAKER_06:Uh who else? Doja? Doja cat dropped last week.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, she did. I saw the promo. I didn't know the album dropped, but okay, Doja.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, she she dropped the same day as the day the tweet started going up, so that's why that got overshadowed.
SPEAKER_01:Ah, okay, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_06:So she she might she might need to drop her deluxe early.
SPEAKER_01:Nice, definitely get out of spin the night. Yeah. Week two of Cardi B. Am I the drama? Looks like you are, babe. Looks like you are.
SPEAKER_04:What if all this is for fake and she just known it for a while?
SPEAKER_01:Hey, we're watching, are we not?
SPEAKER_04:We are, we are talking about it.
SPEAKER_06:Uh hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I there was one there was one thing that I did have a big problem with. Okay, Nikki. Nikki, Nikki, Nikki. Can't you see?
SPEAKER_01:Huh?
SPEAKER_06:Why you bring the babies into it? This lady was just on here talking to Gail King, talking about we go to hell. They go low, we go to hell. Why would you bring the babies into it knowing what you got going on over here? Why would you talk about this baby's gums? And then you that make you go look up the picture because I didn't even know nothing about it. You know what I'm saying? I ain't know what these kids look like. I didn't know, you know, this or that, that or this.
SPEAKER_01:Damn.
SPEAKER_06:Why are you talking about this baby's gums when you know his favorite color five? Why are you talking about how ugly she is? And then your apology was, but you know, a lot of kids grow into their gums. What we what what are we really doing? And then I I love the tweet that said uh they gonna grow up and be Romeo and Juliet, Nikki, uh culture, and and and and papa.
SPEAKER_04:Oh my god. Cardi called that man Papa Perk.
SPEAKER_06:All right, man.
SPEAKER_04:Like, like look him on, bro. They took it too far. Nikki started it. Nikki started with the kids, but you don't speak on people's kids. She called that man Papa Perk.
SPEAKER_01:Honestly, this New York style beef is exactly what we needed to end off the summer. Like, I'll take it. I'll take it.
SPEAKER_04:I hope. I hope they figure it out. These women have been beefing since Cardi's first album dropped. Wasn't that pre-COVID?
SPEAKER_01:Yes, it was seven years ago.
SPEAKER_06:Seven?
SPEAKER_01:Yes.
SPEAKER_06:Oh, yeah, no, she's not bigger than Nikki.
SPEAKER_04:All right, cool. Speaking of women beefing, Taylor Swift is rumored to be beefing with Charlie XCX. Like I said, I listened to the album today. I listened to the album bang because I want to hear this song. But these two women have worked together in the past. But many fans speculated that Charlie's uh Charlie had a song in 2024 that uh called Sympathy is a night. And in a song, she referenced a pop singer uh being uh being jealous of a being being well not jealous, insecure about another woman. Uh Lyric said, Don't want to see her backstage at my boyfriend's show. Fingers crossed behind my back. Hope they break up quick. So uh them at the time them two were dating earlier, they were dating this two guys in the same band, same uh but like I said, Tam Swift released a new song, and on her new album, people believe that out the song is about her, and the name of the uh actually romantic is the name of the song. Shirts, I don't know. Did you hear? Have you heard of Charlie XEX? Let me ask you that first.
SPEAKER_01:I've heard of Charlie XEX, yes. What do you think of her as a musician? She's cool, she one of them little pop girlies, she put out a little banger every now and again. Okay, not in full rotation, didn't know, wouldn't know if she had dropped an album. And I don't listen to Taylor Swift either. So the fact that she's actually, you know, arguing with someone instead of crying boo-hoo about her life is news to me.
SPEAKER_04:So it made me want to listen to the album because I'm used to hearing Taylor Swift be out here talking about her ex-boyfriends, yeah, and that's I was I was expecting to get a full I'm heartbroken. Yeah, but then I got a song on her talking about man, I should have kissed you even though you're even though you got a girlfriend. That's not what I was expecting when I heard the Titan Swift album. Just not gone. I'm expecting to hear a man hear her sing about her boyfriend kissing another woman, but they was beefy. Uh how you think this is gonna play out, Charles.
SPEAKER_01:I think they'll be friends by these by next summer. I think they'll be friends by next summer.
SPEAKER_06:How do I think it's gonna end?
SPEAKER_04:How do you think it's gonna play out?
SPEAKER_06:I think uh when when Taylor Swift signed your death wish, it's over with. So I think that'll be this will be the last we hear of Charlie. This will be the last we hear of Charlie XCX. We won't be talking about her again until it's time for the uh uh what is it, the her her millennium her version of the Millennium Tour?
SPEAKER_01:Well, the Where Are They Now tour.
SPEAKER_06:I think her Christmas is canceled for the rest of eternity. Because I saw the bar too. It was like a Coke bar. She was talking about Coke. I said, damn, was that a Nikki? Was that a Nikki dish? Did you just pick a side too? Nikki dish her type of swift on her on her page.
SPEAKER_02:Nicky type swift up for her album.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, nah, she's nah, yeah. Cardi ain't touching Nikki, not yet. It it may not be a big gap, but she ain't that's still the plateau. That's still the top. I can I can at least respect her enough to say that that's still the top that you gotta reach.
SPEAKER_04:Yep. So let me read this lyric. I heard you call me Born Barbie when the coax got got you brave, half-ass my ex, and then you said you're glad he ghosted me. Wrote a song saying it makes you shick to see my face. How many times has your boyfriend said, Why are we always talking about her? This is what Taylor Swift said on her song. Nice Actually Romantic. I wasn't expecting Taylor Swift to be out here dissing people when I heard the album, neither. I feel like that is a direct shot, and that was a direct diss at this young lady. Like Quag said, uh, it's gonna be the last time we talked about her or the last time we heard about her. Charlie XCX, uh, I hope you save your money.
SPEAKER_05:Okay. Cool.
SPEAKER_04:Um last last but not certainly not least, um Diddy got sentenced to four years in prison. Too much, not enough. Or he should have got more. What say you?
SPEAKER_01:Um, with it being, uh I recently learned that with it being federal time, um, the time he has already served counts towards the sentence. So he might have been given four years. He's only got about two and a half to go. Um, so do I think that's sufficient for the charges? Probably not, but I'm not a judge. Um, he's gonna be back on the streets, you know, before he has a grandkid. So it's cool. Uh like he fucked up. No one cares, obviously. Like, you know, it's it's fucked up to think that they went through all this to get the charges, to arrest him, to put him through trial for him to only get a total of four years. So I'm sure he's got money hidden somewhere and he'll be fine in, you know, a year or two after. But it was definitely a shock as far as hearing what the sentencing was, um, and realizing the lack of time. So, do I think America could do better? Sure, but I think America can do better on a lot of shit that America's not doing too great on right now. But um, yes, we'll just be entertained by Diddy for the next, you know, year and a half, two years and a half, two and a half years, English.
SPEAKER_02:I don't think you're gonna do Long. Like Bro gonna get some old uh good behavior type shit. Quay, what's that you?
SPEAKER_06:You said not enough, just right, too much. I don't remember exactly what he was charged with or what he was convicted of, but um I mean he got like you said, if he he got the four, he done did a year and a half, you know. Uh I don't know. It just it's crazy. I like I said, I don't think he's coming home. I think he knows too much. I think this might be it for uh the diddler.
SPEAKER_04:Okay, I think then he's gonna get out because he's gonna be on that good behavior shit. He probably he only gonna do like another year, which saying only is crazy for a person who's in jail, but I think he's gonna you know what I'm saying, because jail's hard. You know, might have been there once.
SPEAKER_06:This nigga here, boy.
SPEAKER_04:Hey, but no, I think that is uh I think he only gonna do another year, he's gonna get off only good behavior.
SPEAKER_06:That Trump pardon coming.
SPEAKER_04:Yeah, bruh. Trump gonna get Trump might get the bride of there in three months. Cause Trump, you know, that's maybe Trump's boy. Uh I don't really, it's kind of one of those like I feel like this was more about embarrassing Diddy than actually getting a conviction. They wanted to embarrass Diddy, the person that he is, the things that he done. I feel like this was a waste of taxpayer dollars. These people spent they just spent these taxpayer dollars, taxpayers' dollars, just to show that Diddy was out here doing freak-offs. He enjoyed watching other people have sex. I feel like that's a waste of money. It's actual real criminals that actually hurting people, killing people. They don't I don't know, like don't get me wrong, I know Diddy hurt people mentally and emotionally. But his people I heard that actually harming people physically, and well, I guess Diddy did too, the way he was doing shit. Diddy's a well boy. I don't I don't know. I just feel like I feel like this case was more about making him look bad than actually trying to get a conviction. That's what I feel like. I feel like this diddy was more about making him look stupid. Go ahead, sorry. Which they did, but I feel like people's tax taxpayer dollars could have been used in different ways.
SPEAKER_01:But yeah, that's it's not like we hadn't always suspected Diddy was up to some dirty shit in his free time, like this was just we got like you know, we knew he was up to some shit. We just didn't know what the fuck his ass was up to. Now that we know, it's just like one, you nasty, two, it's like, damn, if y'all not even punish him properly, what was the point of pulling that shit out the dirt in the first place?
SPEAKER_06:Granted, you know, people aren't gonna be hurt, or you know, money's not gonna be stolen, and there will be you know less baby oil in circulation, but yeah, but but what I further do today's additional hot thoughts brought to you by uh Greasy OG. Um Greasy OG, you know, guess. Uh I ain't gonna hold it. I ain't really had no hot thoughts for y'all. You know, it's it's been just a lot of Nikki and Cardi shit going on. Uh my my favorite show, Big Brother ended over the couple of, what was that last week? Last weekend. Um, they got another black winner, so that's like four of the last five is black. The fourth one to win was Indian. So, you know, niggas is taking over.
SPEAKER_02:Um I ain't no big brother still came on.
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, yeah, no, no, no. I mean as as more and more POCs, you know, take over, it's just it just lost the the public interest now.
SPEAKER_04:Um I feel like I feel like CBS used to promote it. I'll be watching them the NFL, they don't feel like they say shit.
SPEAKER_06:Bruh, it it literally they was really shutting it like they shut down when NFL started. They was like, look, we gotta I know they always do, but it was like instead of three times this week, we only coming on twice. They shut it all the way down. And then, you know, they got uh they got the app they got Paramount Plus now, so it's a lot of we don't gotta show all these commercials on on regular live TV now. It's it's a whole bunch of, you know, it's more modern now as it's just moving with the times. Um yeah, nah, I really ain't had no no no high thought for y'all, but it's just crazy to think that um this whole Nikki and Cardi beef all goes back to motorsport. It all goes back to motorsport. I don't know how y'all feel about motorsport, but I love motorsport.
SPEAKER_04:That came out in 2017. That song is eight years old. It came out October 27th, 2017. That's all the anniversary for the beef is about to start, it's coming, bro.
SPEAKER_05:That's that's uh, but okay.
SPEAKER_01:Wow, why out?
SPEAKER_06:Yeah, no. If if Quavo the QB um Nick Lombardi.
SPEAKER_04:We didn't even talk about the fact that Nicki was hating on everybody else. She talked about Jay and Rock Nation. Cardi was like, I'm not even a fan of rock. Why you keep talking about them? She does shots at Quavo, like she threw shots at Meg, which why I thought that beef was over too. What was she sweetie? Sweetie. Oh forgot about sweetie.
SPEAKER_01:She's gonna fight with everybody, she's gonna fight with everybody. She has no fucking friends, like she don't want any fucking friends. She wants she wants problems always.
SPEAKER_04:She got to know, right?
SPEAKER_01:She just don't care.
SPEAKER_06:She just don't care. Where's where's Wendy Williams when you need her?
SPEAKER_01:Damn. Shout out, Wendy.
SPEAKER_04:She was beefing with the Breakfast Club. I forgot about them.
SPEAKER_06:She was the Breakfast Club, Tito TMZ, all of them.
SPEAKER_01:2025 has been year of the beef since the beginning. It wouldn't be right if we didn't round it out with some with some more beef. Like, come on.
SPEAKER_06:That there was a year of the beef.
SPEAKER_01:It was. It's continued.
SPEAKER_06:Okay, continued.
SPEAKER_01:Year of year to beef part two. This is beef two right now. How many of them damn beef movies was it? We've got the next four years of beef and bullshit and fuckery. And we just gonna be here for the ride.
